After School Snacks: Cooking With Kitchen Wizards
Learn to cook tasty after school snacks with a certified elementary school teacher-turned cooking instructor! We will prepare easy, kid-friendly recipes that make great play-date or after-school snacks (both sweet and savory). Club will incorporate appropriate grade level skills in each lesson – children are able to connect what they’re learning in the classroom with a life skill, as well as using critical thinking skills (why does a small cookie burn and a large cookie remain unbaked if put in the oven for the same amount of time?) and become comfortable working in the kitchen. Responsible adult should be present to help if needed.
