Time Commitment: Library volunteers commit to working one or more shifts throughout the year during their child’s library class. See the table below for the library class schedule. VOLUNTEER CLEARANCES ARE REQUIRED (SEE BELOW). On the job training will be provided.
Responsibilities: Assist with checking out books; re-shelving books; and help with other library projects.
How to Sign Up: Use the sign up form at the bottom of this page. The VFES Librarian, Library Aide and the Library Volunteer Grade Coordinators will assign and contact all volunteers.
Library volunteers must have all clearances up to date and on file with the school district office. Visit the Volunteers Guidelines page for information on obtaining clearances.

Grade Level Homeroom Parent Coordinators
One coordinator per grade will serve as a liaison between the PTO, team leader teachers and the homeroom parents for his/her grade to enhance and assist with the various grade-wide projects and functions throughout the year.
Homeroom Parent Volunteers
Two or three Homeroom (HR) parents are needed per classroom. HR parents are responsible for organizing the game/craft for three classroom parties throughout the school year (Halloween, Winter, and End of Year).
One of the HR Parents will be assigned the role of Head HR Parent. All classroom communication will come from the Head HR Parent. Head HR Parents coordinate teacher gifts for the holidays and end of year and the Spring Fair Raffle item.
